Jordan Sang, PhD, MPH

Jordan Sang is originally from Vancouver, British Columbia. In Vancouver, he obtained his BA in Health Sciences from Simon Fraser University and he worked with community-based organizations around HIV prevention and LGBT Health. He moved to New York City in 2014 to pursue a Masters in Public Health from New York University. In addition to his MPH he also completed a post-masters advanced certificate in LGBT Health, Education and Social Services at NYU. While in New York he continued to work with LGBT Health and HIV prevention organizations in the city. Jordan completed his PhD in Behavioral and Community Health Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh in the spring of 2019. His dissertation is titled: Exploring Romantic Expectations and Outcomes of HIV and Mental Health among YGBM. He is currently a postdoc at the British Columbia Center for Excellence in HIV/AIDS.
